Parbles Good Conduct Guide
In this guide I will try and teach you the importance of good conduct in a corporation. There are some basic things that you must master to have good conduct in a corp and those are following the corp rules, being nice to other people inside and outside of the corp, and helping people out. First we will begin with following the corp rules. In Combine Mining and Manufacturing LDT we have four basic rules that everyone must follow and those are the ability to play well with others, no botting, no piracy, and let us know if you will be leaving for an extent of time greater than one month.
Let’s start with the first rule the ability to play well with others. Like I have said before being nice to people and helping them out will make you a better corp member and you will help the corp out by doing so. If you help people and are nice to them even if they are not in the corporation you could make friends in other parts of eve and have some really good connections which will help you out as you become more involved in the game. Also by you being nice to people they will think that everyone in Combine is nice (we all know it’s true) and they would like to join us. This will increase out corp numbers and bring a wider variety of people into the corp.
The second rule is no botting. This means that you cannot program a macro to do all you’re mining for you. This is illegal to do in Eve Online. If you get caught macro mining or using a macro you will most likely get banned. If you macro mine you will lose all of the excitement in eve online when it comes to the industry side of eve. If you did not put in the hard work to get the ores or ice you will not feel as accomplished at the end of the process than if you did mine everything on your own. Botting is just wrong so please don’t do it.
The third rule is no piracy. This means you cannot go out and steal ore from people’s cans or just go out and suicide gank people. When you are participating in these activities people see that you are in Combine and have an automatic dislike or even hate for our corp and alliance. If they dislike us enough they could higher mercenaries to come and kill us which would cancel all activities for a week costing the alliance billions of isk. Now you see the importance of being nice to people outside the corp and not being a pirate.
Lastly is the let us know if you will be leaving for an extent of time greater than one month. This is just a numbers rule. We (the combine directors) want to know who all is active or not and by you sending us a message then we will know. In Combine if you are inactive for over a month you get one week to be back online or we will dismiss you from the corporation. If you do come back to playing EVE and with to rejoin combine all you would have to do is send in an application to join.
As we can see being a team player and being nice to the people around you will get you moved up in the world. You could meet some really good friends on EVE online and those friends could get you into some pretty good stuff. IF you have friends and they get into a nul sec alliance they could want you to join their corp and you would have an easier time getting into nul sec. Another example is if they do a lot of manufacturing you could get some nice ships for a nice discount. These are just some examples of what can happen if you are nice to people on EVE.
I hope you liked my guide to good conduct.
